REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

2013 PUMPER VEHICLE

RESPONSES DUE: October 19, 2012, 11am, EST

MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE: September 28, 2012 at 11:00am, EST

The purpose of the Request for Proposal is to build and deliver to the Town of Canton Fire & EMS Department a 2013 Pumper Vehicle complete with cab and chassis and capable of pumping 1,500 gallons per minute. All equipment and components shall be in compliance with the National Fire Protection Association Pamphlet 1901 (2009 Edition), Standard for Automotive Fire Apparatus, for Pumper Fire Apparatus Equipped with a Fire Pump. In addition the apparatus shall also comply with all federal, state, ICC, and DOT regulations, standards, and laws relating to commercial vehicles as well as to the fire apparatus. There will be a mandatory pre-bid conference on September 28, 2012 at 11:00am in the Collinsville Fire Station located at 51 River Road in Canton, CT 06019.
