Built in 1815 in the colonial style, in the early 1800s C.G. Griswold’s family salve was manufactured in the back of the house.  Eventually sold to the Sisson Drug Company, the salve was available until about 1970.  There is a horse barn, creamery, ice house, silo and tobacco barn on the place.
