Do I need a permit to burn?

Yes, if you need to know specifics about what can be burned contact the Fire Marshal’s office at 860-693-7857.

What is the Permit fee to burn?

The fee is $25. You can apply online by clicking here.

What is the fee for a blasting permit?

The fee is $60 and you must have a license to blast.

What are the hours of operation?

Monday: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Wednesday: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Thursday: 8:00 - 4:00 pm

Do I need a permit to remove an underground storage tank?

Yes, please visit the Building Department web page for more information. You can apply online by clicking here.
